Star Marine Depot has some great prices on the Lowrance Ice Machine Units. The HOOK units qualify for a $50 rebate, which brings these units down to scary low prices. The “HOOK” line is new to Lowrance, but seems to be nothing more than a change to name/logo only (correct me if I’m wrong). I can’t really find any new features or technology that comes along with these units.
Anyways, regardless of name these are still incredible deals. I really like the Lowrance units with their tall screens and easy to use navigation system. Also, consider paying up for the Lowrance 4 Ice Machine as it has GPS capabilities, a feature I find myself using all the time with my Helix.
