Walmart has their Pflueger Trions on a ‘Rollback’ right now. They’re marked down to $29.99, which is a great deal considering these typically sell for $40.
Check forums and reviews and you’ll see a lot of guys swearing by the 20-size for ice reels. I played with one over at Cabela’s last weekend and it seems to have a solid drag but what I noticed most was how easy it was to click the bail over by turning the handle. If you’ve been waiting for a good deal to stock up on these Trions, now is your time. Beware, Walmart’s “Rollover Pricing” seems to come and go with the wind.
