L&M Fleet Supply has the best price we’ve found this season on the Eskimo Mako 43cc 8″ and 10″ Augers. These typically sell in the $280 range for the 8″ and $300 range for the 10″. So at these prices, if you need a gas auger, now is the time to pick one up.
I’ve had the chance to use the 8″ version of this auger a few times. It started very easily, even in cold weather, and did a great job cutting through the ice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for an auger.
